OpenCV v2.2
You now that many software or libraries have binaries for development and u never compile them on Windows OS. In this version of Open CV u have to compile the code if u are using MinGW(which QT uses) or Visual Studio something except 2010. And they say it in one sentence somewhere that u can find if you face with the problem. F...k, I have wasted my 1 week for that f...king runtime errors of the software because i am using QT Creator. And the worst thing is some part of the code works, some not! So that u think u r doin sth wrong! Here is the link for compiling OpenCV for MinGW; http://opencv.willowgarage.com/wiki/MinGW. Good luck..

Open CV 2.3 is now released. With this release, I guess they realized the people can use the binaries with different frameworks so they made a combination of all the binaries for four different compilers; MinGW, VS2010, VS2008 and VS2005.
